As August unfolds, we find ourselves in a season of both enjoyment and anticipation. Summer offers opportunities to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and appreciate God’s goodness in creation. At the same time, we begin looking ahead to the rhythms of a new ministry season, with fresh opportunities to grow in faith, serve one another, and welcome new faces into our church family.

In light of this, we would like to share some of Grady’s students’ reflections as a testament to the work the Holy Spirit is doing in their lives. As part of AP Research, a…

Flemings in the Philippines!

On February 20th, we met our precious baby boy, Ethan Kai. We are very thankful for a smooth delivery and recovery so far, and for the peace that God has given us throughout this season. Ethan is a Hebrew name and means “strong”, and while Kai has various origins, in Japanese (海) it means “ocean”. We like how the ocean is a way that we see God’s strength in creation, and we pray that he would have a strong faith…

As March arrives, we begin to sense the quiet transition from winter toward spring — a season that reminds us of renewal, growth, and hope. In many ways, this mirrors what God continues to do among us as a church family. We are grateful for the ways we have seen faith deepened, relationships strengthened, and opportunities for service expanded over the past weeks.
