Thank you for continuing to walk with El Nido through your prayers and encouragement.
As we look back on June (and most of July), we are grateful for God’s faithfulness. Thanks to your prayers, we have now welcomed 19 young mothers into the program, each of whom has completed a home visit and an interview with our psychologist. We also have four additional young women currently going through the application process. We praise God for every open door and ask Him to continue guiding each family as they take these important steps toward hope and support.

A special visit that could open new doors
This month (actually right now) we will welcome a well-known Canadian Christian television host who is visiting Colombia to learn more about El Nido. She is exploring whether our program could be featured in a television documentary to help raise awareness and support for our program.
Please pray for safe travels, meaningful conversations, and open hearts throughout her visit. Pray that she would truly understand the realities our young mothers face, witness the impact of the program, and see God’s work through every story she encounters.
Health, protection, and strength for our team
Several members of our team are currently facing physical and emotional health challenges, while others are walking through difficult situations affecting close family members. Ministry in vulnerable contexts is deeply meaningful, but it can also be emotionally demanding.
Please pray that God would bring healing, peace, and renewed strength to each person. Pray that He would give us wisdom as an organization to care well for our team, providing the resources, strategies, and support needed so they can continue serving from a place of health rather than exhaustion.
An architect to help us strengthen our space
Please pray that God would provide the right architect to partner with El Nido. We have 2 architects who have offered to develop a proposal for much-needed renovations that will allow us to better serve our young mothers and their babies.
One is more expensive than the other, but we are trying to decide who would actually be the best fit for our program
Anniversary Celebration
This month we celebrate 10 years of walking alongside young mothers.
Over the past decade, God has faithfully sustained El Nido through countless challenges, stories of transformation, generous supporters, dedicated volunteers, and faithful prayers. We are deeply grateful for every mother who has found hope, every baby who has been welcomed with dignity, and every person who has been part of this journey.
As we celebrate this milestone, our hearts are filled with gratitude—not only for what God has done, but for the many people He has used along the way. Thank you for being part of this story through your prayers, generosity, and encouragement. We look forward with hope to all He will continue to do in the years ahead.
