As summer begins to give way to a new season, September brings with it a sense of fresh beginnings, renewed rhythms, and new opportunities. At Village Green, we look forward to all that God has in store for us in the months ahead. Whether you are returning from vacation, settling into a new routine, or simply looking for a fresh start, we invite you to join us as we continue Exploring Life together.
There is much happening at Village Green this fall—opportunities to grow, connect, serve, and discover what it means to live out our faith in everyday life. We hope you’ll find a place to participate, build relationships, and experience the joy of being part of our church family.
Welcome to September—and to a new season of exploring life together!
SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

September 6 – Pastor Jon will be presenting a message from Exodus 33:12-17, entitled, Who Goes with Us? A reminder that this is also our Communion Service.
September 13 – Matthew Burkholder is speaking. A reminder: This is the service when we will be introducing the leadership to the church. This includess those who are on the Board of Directors, Elder’s Board, Staff, Financial Team, Ministry Head, or a Life Group leader.

September 20, 27 – Starting the week of the 20th is a brand new, 10-week series entitled, Fingerprints of God: God, Creation, and the Wonder of Love. In this series, we’ll explore how the world around us points beyond itself to the God who made it. From the vastness of the galaxies to the complexity of life itself, creation reveals not only God’s power and wisdom but also the depth of His love for us.
Together, we’ll discover that the fingerprints of God are everywhere and etched into the beauty of nature, woven into the story of humanity, and ultimately revealed in His desire to know us and be known by us. As we journey through Scripture, we’ll see that we are not accidents of chance, but beloved creations, carefully formed by the hands of a loving Creator.

THEOLOGY JAM

With a new season upon us we are planning some dynamic new material for Theology Jam. We just completed a 4-week series on Women in Leadership, and is just one of the many relevant topics coming your way in the months ahead.
If you have suggestions for topics or want to leave us a note or comment, you can reach us at theologyjam@gmail.com.
JACOB AND LEIDY PAUL
Many of you have been asking how we can help our missionary partners, Jacob and Leidy Paul, who announced a few weeks back that the roof of the building in Colombia that houses, El Nido, was severly damaged and needs $13,000 to repair.
Others related to their ministry have suffered damages as well and Jacob and Leidy are raising money to help with food and necessities, especially to those who cannot return to their apartments or work.
You can donate directly to El Nido, through BIC Global or to the Missions Agency, LAM, by clicking one of the links below.
LOOKING AHEAD WITH HOPE
As we step into a new season, we have much to be thankful for. We can look back and see God’s faithfulness, look around and see the ways He is working among us, and look ahead with confidence because we know He is not finished with us yet.
The best chapters of our story are not necessarily behind us. God continues to lead, shape, challenge, and surprise us. Our calling is simply to remain faithful to Him and open to where He wants to take us next.
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?” — Isaiah 43:19
May this new season find us grateful for the past, faithful in the present, and hopeful for the future. Whatever lies ahead, we can face it together—trusting that the God who has brought us this far will continue to lead the way.
May the Lord bless you and keep you!
