Village Green Update – January 8, 2021

Welcome to the first official update for 2021. As a New Year dawns may we look forward with hope, faith, and expectation for what God will do as this year unfolds. There are many reasons to be discouraged and dismayed but our hope lies elsewhere, is the sure foundation that is found in Christ.

Happy New Year!

At a time when many will be making resolutions, let us prayerfully enter this New Year in anticipation of what God will do, and rest in the confidence and hope that comes from trusting in the promises of God.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This month leading up to Christmas has been filled with some challenges, Covid-19 scares, and joyful celebrations. Despite all the hard parts, we are still extremely grateful for another year filled with God’s faithfulness. Oliver is continuing to grow and is pretty much an Energizer bunny…he just keeps going and going. It’s hilarious, exhausting, and beautiful all at once. Hitachinaka Happenings

Greetings from Hitachinaka, Japan: We are back in Japan and more than settled in. Christmas is coming and Covid-19 is still in the air, but we are thankful that our Japan countryside does not seem to be affected to much degree.
