Blended Learning In light of the decrease in covid cases in Manila, the Department of Education in the Philippines is allowing Faith Academy to have school in person! This week we began “blended learning,” which means that we are teaching synchronously to kids online and in person. It is SO nice (and feels surreal) to have students in our classrooms. Hitachinaka Happenings
Merry Christmas from Hitachinaka, Japan! As the world approaches a second “Covid Christmas”, we, like most people, will make adjustments. Village Green welcomes Grady and Britt Fleming!
Exciting News to Share: At Village Green we are now entering into a 3rd generation of those connecting in the area of Missions. Reg and Marita Campbell were members of VG and Marita served on the Missions Committee. Their daughter, Kathyrn and Rob Fleming are partnership missionaries serving in Japan. Their son, Grady and his wife, have been approved to serve in the Philippines. Grady and Britt will be teaching high school at the Christian Academy in Manila for two…
Rob and Kathryn Fleming Update
Our return to Japan was planned for early May (Now!), but with a state of emergency declared by the Japanese Government until May 31, it seems best to continue “sheltering in place” here in Waterloo until international travel is deemed safe by both Canadian and Japanese authorities. We are encouraged to have been able to be a part of Grady and Brittany’s Zoom wedding in April and have been able to add an extra month to our apartment lease here…
