Village Green Update for May 28, 2020

Village Green Update for May 28, 2020

Welcome to this week’s update from Village Green Community Church.

Centuries ago, the prophet Isaiah wrote to a beleaguered nation, despondent from a season of exile, it was a far worse fate than the nation could bear. In the midst of a new dawn, Isaiah penned these words as a comforting reminder.

Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Hope these words from Isaiah 40:28-31 encourage you today. May you be strengthened by them, and may it give you the assurance of God’s presence in all your earthly endeavours.

It’s Survey Time

As we see the province begin stages for re-opening, we are also thinking of the time when we can begin holding services in our building again.

So, we are asking if you could take a few moments to fill out a survey. It will help us to make the best decisions and to be fully prepared when we are able to open our doors again.

The survey takes 2-5 minutes and is only 16 questions in length, all multiple choice. It would greatly help the leadership moving forward. The survey opens today and is available until just before midnight on June 12th.

You can grab the survey here.

Thanks so much for taking the time.

Kids Connection

Here also is this week’s link for the Kids Connection videos. Kids Connection videos.

We are also including another resource from LifeChurch. At the bottom of their page are videos and resources for various age groups. You can grab those resources here.

Our next Communion service will be on June 7th. Make sure you are ready to participate as a family.

Ways to Give

A reminder that you can now use to make e-transfers to the church. If you do use this option, please make sure we have an address on file so we know where to send the receipt. We also have a PayPal portal on our website: You can also drop off your offerings through the mail slot at the church. It is checked on a regular basis.
