Hey everyone!
We have two quick updates to share with you all!
The first thing is that we are fully vaccinated! Praise God! We were not going to be able to travel to the Philippines until we received both doses, and so we are grateful that Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine supply increased in recent weeks.
The second thing is an invitation to pray for our departure date. At this time, there is a travel ban for inbound foreigners to the Philippines. However, Faith Academy has submitted the names of 55 incoming staff (us included) to the Filipino Department of Foreign Affairs, requesting our exemption from the ban. We received this email from the Head of School two days ago and we wanted to share it with you all.

Today we received the visa exemption letter for 7 people, which was delayed because of the ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) and travel ban. We submitted the third batch of 48 people on June 10. Would you please pray fervently that we would receive the exemption for this third batch by July 10? For those who are able, please feel free to fast.
Let us join our hearts in faith and prayer that God will give us a miracle. This is very exciting; we believe God will reveal His power on our behalf!
We have seen God work in mighty ways in getting staff into the Philippines this past year. We eagerly wait to see how God will work in the situation.
