BIBLE STUDY AND DISCUSSION GROUP
Apart from our sermon-based Life Groups, there is also a Woman’s Bible Study and a Men’s discussion group at the church on Wednesdays, starting at 9:30 am.
The women meet in the large room downstairs while the men’s group meets in the Overflow Room upstairs.
SOUP SUNDAY

Mark your calendars for the first Soup Sunday of the year coming October 20th. Sign-up sheets will be available in the foyer a couple of weeks beforehand. As a reminder, please bring soup bowls and spoons for your family and if you have signed up to make soup, make sure to bring the list of ingredients to display with your soup.
MEN’S BREAKFAST
The Village Green Men’s Group will be hosting a men’s breakfast Saturday October 5, 2024, at 8:00 am in the lower auditorium at Village Green Church.

We will be introducing the committee members and sharing information about the focus of the men’s group and share how Village Green Men can participate in various events throughout the coming year.
Breakfast is provided at no cost, but a freewill offering would be appreciated.
If you are planning to attend, please email office@villagegreenchurch.com, to ensure we prepare enough food for all.
FRAGRANCE AWARENESS

A reminder that we have a number of people who suffer from severe scent allergies. Please refrain from wearing scented products at church so that those with allergies can breathe easier.

IN CLOSING…
Darlene and I (Jon), are away in England from October 1-12. Please pray for a safe journey and a restful time away with our son and his family.
Lastly, we appreciate all of you who make this church, not only your home, but an inviting place for others. There are many who are seeking a meaning and purpose for life, and here at Village Green we live by our value of exploring life through the way of Jesus. May this continue to be the heart of this community as we together seek to love God, love others, and change the world!
Blessings
Jon Korkidakis
