Believing is Seeing

To focus on mission work and living missionally, let’s explore what it means for someone to stand before Jesus and hear him ask: What do you want me to do for you? Mark 10:46-52

The book concludes on the importance of living a meaningful life and fulfilling one’s responsibilities while remembering that everything done under the sun is ultimately fleeting and that all will return to God. Ecclesiastes Ch. 12

Part 8: Irony

There is a stark contrast between the wise and the foolish. The actions of a fool can wreak untold havoc on a life already mired by difficuly, while acting wit wisdom protects us from peril. Ecclesiastes Chapter 10

Part 7: When Darkness Falls

We all face a common destiny, which underscores the idea that life is unpredictable and that both the righteous and the wicked encounter similar circumstances. So, embrace life for all its worth. Ecclesiastes Chapter 9

Part 6: Doing Right

Despite the apparent injustices of life, the enjoyment of lifeès simple pleasures is encouraged because they highlight God as the giver and his sovereign control over all matters. Ecclesiastes Chapter 8

Part 5: Wisdom Hacks

Life presents us with certain paradoxes and inevitabilities. Regardless of what we pursue or achieve, the reality of the human condition is ever before us. Ecclesiastes Chapters 6-7

Part 4: Do This Instead

Reverence for God is an important aspect of life, as it helps to guard us from the folly of pride while ackowledging the need for humility and grace, and the simple things in life. Ecclesiastes Chapter 5

Part 3: Better Together

Life is undoubtedly richer when experienced with others. Our shared experiences help us to navigate the intricacies of life. Ecclesiastes Chapter 4

Part 2: Seasons Under the Sun

The ultimate control over time and events lies beyond our grasp. Yet, we are reminded to appreciate the present and recognize the beauty in life’s seasons. Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
