Ernest Yanful

Ernest lives in London and is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The University of Western Ontario. He was born in Ghana and immigrated to Canada in 1981. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Windsor. After obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Western in 1986, he worked for the University, Environment Canada in Saskatoon, and Noranda Technology Centre in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, before returning to London to join the faculty at Western in 1993. Ernest has served at Village Green in different capacities since 1982. He became an Elder in 2004. He is married to Mary and they have four grown children.
