I live on a hobby farm with my husband, Chris, and three children. Chris and I began attending Village Green Church in 2011, and this is when I feel my walk with faith really began. Although I grew up as a Christian, and had attended various churches throughout my life, God wasn’t always a huge priority in my life.
All of this changed shortly after I started attending Village Green. I became part of a Life group, was challenged in my faith, and started to notice people really living out what it means to walk with Christ – in good and in bad. I became part of a church community that has helped me to grow deeper and stronger in my relationship with God. This community has since supported me through the chaos, changes and challenges that life brings.
I have had the opportunity to serve at Village Green in multiple capacities including six years on the Board of directors, multiple years as a Life group leader and host, on the prayer team, and in the Kids Connection. I look forward to more opportunities to continue to serve as I continue to learn and grow in my personal relationship with Jesus.
