Welcome to this week’s update for Village Green Community Church.
The government announced that our region was now into stage 2 of their reopening plans. We released a statement on June 9 in response to the announcing and to make clear the challenges before us as we consider regathering into our building. If you missed the release you can read it here.
Just to be clear. please DO NOT show up on Sunday. We are yet deciding when we will be ready to physically start allowing people into our building. Please commit this matter to prayer as many factors need to be considered.

It’s Survey Time
To help us make the best decisions we are asking that you take a short survey. You can simply click on this link to complete it – survey.
The survey closes just before midnight on the 12th so please take the short few minutes to help us out.

Let us Know How You Can Help?
In this Saturday’s E-Blast from MailChimp, there will be a form for any one who wants to volunteer at the church. We will need to know where you can serve, frequency etc. It is one of the many exercises we need to complete in order to be able to regather. We will also need work done at the church during the week so if that is an area where you can help, then please let us know. Look for the form this Saturday! If you are not on our MailChimp E-Blast list, contact the office at office@villagegreenchurch.com
Media Room
As LINC exits the building in the next week or so, we will be claiming their old office as our new video production room. As part of Vision 2020 and the ongoing commitment to deliver church material through multiple platforms we will be investing in a dedicated media space to produce in-house videos, podcasts, teaching series and a host of other products. Stay tuned for more!
Summer Intern
We are excited to have Matthew Byers as our summer intern. Matthew has been a part of Village Green for many years and is also completing a degree at Heritage College and Seminary. He will be starting this month and will be helping out in a number of areas.
Ways to Give
A reminder that you can now use envelopes@villagegreenchurch.com to make e-transfers to the church. If you do use this option, please make sure we have an address on file so we know where to send the receipt. We also have a PayPal portal on our website: villagegreenchurch.com. You can also drop off your offerings through the mail slot at the church. It is checked on a regular basis.
