Village Green Update – October 16, 2020

Welcome to this week’s update from Village Green Community Church.

Our Livestream Update

Last Sunday we experienced one of the downsides of technology. Our livestream wouldn’t work. For some reason YouTube would not play nice and left us having to pivot to Facebook live. It was like going from a Mercedes (YouTube) to a Chevy (Facebook). We also understand that we were not alone in experiencing the disruption.

Unfortunately, the problem continues and our Tech Team is still trying to rectify it. Our intent is to have the livestream up and running for Sunday as normal, but if YouTube doesn’t play nice again, we will have to defer to Facebook again. The Teach Team will put out a notification if the stream has to move to Facebook again. Please pray for the problem to be resolved.

Free Books

We have tables of free books available for the taking. Simply contact the office and set up a time. We have some boxes and bags but please remember to bring some. There is a wide variety of resources to choose from – leadership, theology, family, Bibles, and lots more. There is also DVD’s, Conference and music CD’s to choose from.  Make your appointment at office@villagegreenchurch.com

Re-Gathering Protocols

We also have a document listing the protocols for our Sunday morning gatherings. For a full list of our protocols you can grab them here: VG-Re-Gathering Protocols 2020.

Give!

There are three primary ways to give to the church:

  1. Drop off your offering at the church, either through the mailbox during the week or in the basket when entering the service on Sunday morning.
  2. Go to our website, www.villagegreenchurch.com, and use the Give button on the top-right menu bar. There is also a Give bottom in the footer menu of the website as well. The Give button will take you to our PayPal portal.
  3. You can also give by using envelopes@villagegreenchurch.com to make e-transfers to the church. If you do use this option, please make sure we have an address on file so we know where to send the receipt.

Blessings;
Jon Korkidakis
